Applicants are invited for appointment as Lecturer in International Relations (Ref.: 201701359), to commence on August l5, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have an M.Phil. degree and a strong record of at least 3 years of teaching. Those with a Ph.D. degree and who can teach theories in international relations; Chinese foreign policy; East Asian international relations; international political economy; and international organizations at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are preferred. A globally competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Please note that the University is not able to offer a relocation assistance package (including temporary University housing accommodation and a passage and baggage allowance) to the successful candidate recruited from overseas.
